VIRTUS TRAINING

IS BEING OFFERED AT 
ST. JOE'S ON: 

 
WEDNESDAY, August 22nd ~ 6-9 pm &

Saturday, September 8th ~ 8-11 am

If you are new to volunteering here at St. Joseph, please contact the director of that program area you wish to help in to get necessary information about becoming Essentail 3 qualified.  Download the Virtus 2017 New User Guide. This guide provides step-by-step instructions for completing all required credentialing components including registering for the Virtus training. All new volunteers working with children or vulnerable adults must complete all credentials before volunteer work can be started.

You MUST complete the registration online
in order to be accepted into the training.

VIRTUS training is a three hour awareness session which better equips adults to protect children in the world around them. It is required of all clergy, deacons, school and parish employees as well as all volunteers who are in regular or unsupervised contact with children under the age of 18.               


HOW DO I REGISTER TO ATTEND A VIRTUS SESSION?

   PLEASE GO TO VIRTUS.ORG  AND USE THE VIRTUS  NEW USER GUIDE.

1. CLICK ON THE "REGISTRATION" LINK IN THE LEFT-HAND COLUMN.

2. SELECT "ST. PAUL AND MINNEAPOLIS (ARCHDIOCESE)" FROM THE DROP-DOWN BOX.

3. CREATE YOUR OWN "USER ID" AND "PASSWORD".

4. FOLLOW THE SCREEN PROMPTS TO CONTINUE THE ONLINE REGISTRATION.
