Music Ministry Opportunities
St. Joe's has multiple choirs, and we welcome musical vocal and instrumental diversity! If you have talent or a desire to learn, check out the music opportunities we have below. !
The Adult Choir meets at 6:30 P.M. every Thursday evening in the worship space, and sings at most 10:30 am weekend masses. All are welcome. Contact the parish office 651-423-4402.
The Men's Choir has two Thursday rehearsals a month at 6:30 pm in the library, with the dates varying according to the Mass schedule. The choir usually sings the last Sunday of the month at the 8:30 am Mass, with a 7:30 am rehearsal that morning. Any man who enjoys singing is welcome -- it is not necessary to read music. Contact Bill Bradley at the parish office (651-423-4402 x 3230) or Cathy Whiteman at 651-423-5113.
The Resurrection Choir sings for Funeral Masses. Those who sign up are contacted as soon as possible when a funeral is scheduled. There are no rehearsals other than a quick run through of anything unusual before the funeral, as this group is on a "Come when you can" plan. Contact the parish office 651-423-4402.
The Children's Choir includes singers grades 3-8. Rehearsals are according to a special schedule, generally two Thursdays a month from 5:00-6:00 pm. They sing at either the 8:30 am or the 10:30 am Sunday Mass once a month. For more information, contact the parish office 651-423-4402.
